Joelle Cook...a cook turns sugar artist.
"10x" is a shorthand for confectioner's or icing sugar used in decorating baked goodies. It's also used to describe the level of experience improvement for something to be memorable in a good way. Well, that's a bit academic for describing why I'm captivated by Sugar Arts.
For decades, I've been sketching, working metal and enameling for wearable pieces and generally exploring many types of art sculpture. Recently, a dear friend of mine introduced me to cookie decorating at a level that I had never tried before. I have become addicted! I just love the way it builds on my various passions and the results make me happy and are so fun to share.
I'm just wading in, so I have much to learn and I hope that you enjoy following my path of discovery, trial and error, and continuous learning from other wonderful sugar artists.
