Springtime is such a lovely time of year. Here in the Midwest, after what seems like endless winter, the first bud or blossom inspires celebration. If spring is late coming to your neck of the woods or if you just need the perfect pick-me-up, this little basket is sure to bring a smile. Crafted by me from a paper mache egg, it is filled with the delights from years of collecting vintage millinery. This precious tiny basket measure 4”x3” and contains antique wax flowers, a Dresden scrap butterfly, Japanese flocked leaves, vintage hat flowers and a postcard scrap from 1909. The colors are the softest pink, cream, and gold. Glass glitter finishes the design. Tucked on a shelf or beside your computer, you’ll delight in your own tiny bit of Spring.
